We are looking for an independent, meticulous, and motivated individual for a permanent, full-time MIG/MAG welding position with our client in Pori. In this role, you will become part of a skilled and supportive team in a modern production environment where quality, workplace safety, and employee well-being are highly valued. This position is ideal for an experienced MIG/MAG welder who can independently weld individual components based on technical drawings.

Responsibilities and tasks in MIG/MAG welding

As a MIG/MAG welder, you will weld individual parts in subcontract manufacturing. You will be responsible for welding sheet metal and/or heavier structures according to production drawings. The job also includes fitting components and possibly other metalworking tasks such as measuring and finishing parts. You will follow strict quality requirements and ensure the proper condition of your tools and workstation. The work is primarily carried out in day shifts.

What do we expect from a MIG/MAG welder?

-Relevant education in the metal industry (e.g., welder, mechanical and production engineering) or sufficient work experience in similar positions 

-Solid MIG/MAG welding skills, ability to read technical drawings, and high-quality workmanship

-Independent, responsible, and detail-oriented work ethic

-Good teamwork and communication skills

-A valid occupational safety card and any welding qualifications are considered an advantage

-Finnish language proficiency
