We are looking for a MIG/MAG Welder for our client in the Vaasa area for a full-time, day-shift position. In this role, you will work with sheet and pipe steel structures.

Job description

The work mainly involves welding black steel / carbon steel. Materials include sheet metal and various types of box sections and steel tubing. The products are precise steel structures made from plate and hollow sections, with material thicknesses ranging from approximately 3 mm to 30 mm. About 90% of the work is MIG/MAG welding, with a small amount of TIG welding. Previous TIG experience is considered a plus, but it is not required. Working hours are between Monday to Friday, 7:00–15:30 and salary range is between 15-18€ depending on the experience.

Key tasks

• MIG/MAG welding (carbon steel) for sheet and pipe metal structures

• Welding according to drawings

• Ensuring work quality (clean workmanship, following instructions)

• Cooperation with production/the team and safe working practices

What we expect from you

• previous experience in MIG/MAG welding

• experience welding carbon steel / black steel

• ability to read technical drawings

• careful, accurate, and quality-focused way of working
