Our client in Lapland offers guests a calm, high-quality, and experience-driven accommodation in the heart of the Lapland winter. The hotel reception operates 24/7, and during night shifts the focus is on ensuring that guests’ stay runs safely and smoothly even when the rest of the hotel is quiet.

Night Receptionist

We are looking for one night receptionist for the winter season. In this role, you will play a key part in the hotel’s nighttime operations: handling check-ins and check-outs, independently resolving practical situations, and ensuring a smooth start for the morning shift.

The work is primarily focused on night shift responsibilities, where accuracy, calmness, and independent decision-making are essential.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a person who enjoys night work and is able to operate independently in an environment where the hotel is quiet, but responsibility remains high. Night shifts require strong organisational skills, anticipation, and a customer-oriented mindset.

We expect from you:

• Experience in night shifts at a hotel reception

• Ability to handle night-time reception tasks independently

• Careful and efficient working style

• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

• Flexibility and ability to respond to unexpected situations

• Experience with hotel reception systems (especially Mews and Fareharbor are an advantage)

• Fluent English language skills; other languages are an advantage

• A valid B driving licence (own car is considered an advantage)

• Fixed-term full-time employment (90 h / 3 weeks) for the winter season

• Starting salary from €15/hour, depending on experience and skills
