Excavator Spotter 

As an Excavator Spotter, you play a crucial part in maintaining site safety and supporting machine operators in various construction and earthmoving projects throughout the Uusimaa region. Your key tasks will include:

• Assisting excavator operators by monitoring blind spots and surroundings to prevent accidents and hazards
• Communicating clearly with machine operators and co-workers using hand signals and two-way radios
• Ensuring safe movement of machinery and nearby personnel on construction sites
• Observing and reporting potential hazards or obstructions in the work area
• Supporting site supervisors in maintaining a safe and orderly environment
• Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols at all times

Ideal Candidate Profile 

• Previous experience on construction sites or in related fields is considered an advantage
• Vigilant, safety-conscious, and able to remain focused over extended periods
• Effective communicator who can work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• B driving license is beneficial but not essential
• Must be able to read Finnish drawings/markings
