Excavator Operator

• Efficiently operate excavators and other earthmoving machinery on varying construction projects across the Uusimaa region
• Follow site plans, markings, and supervisor instructions for digging, grading, levelling, and material movement
• Perform routine daily inspections and basic maintenance of assigned machines to ensure safety and reliability
• Safely manoeuvre equipment in tight construction environments, respecting guidelines for site safety and orderliness
• Work collaboratively with site teams, communicating clearly and following instructions
• Report equipment issues promptly and help maintain a risk-free workplace by adhering to all health and safety standards

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an excavator operator, machine operator, or in a related construction machinery position is an advantage
• Valid excavator operator qualifications or up-to-date excavation permits (Työturvallisuuskortti, Tieturva etc.) preferred
• Strong understanding of safe machine handling, construction safety, and site procedures
• Good communication skills in Finnish and/or English
• Punctual, motivated, and adaptable – able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
